BACKSTAGE and ONSTAGE are two works for the Malkasten building. Both installations use the same video in two different spaces. In ONSTAGE (Künstlerkeller) a dynamic light projection overlays the moving surface of a flag waving on stage, while in BACKSTAGE (Rotunde) the light rhythm of the video is directed at the spiral staircase.
